Ascent Systems Technologies became an affiliate member of the BC chapter of the Canadian Council for International Cooperation (BCCIC).

BCCIC mission is to engage its members and others to share knowledge, build relationships, and develop their capacity towards achieving sustainable global development. One of the important goals of the BCCIC is to increase public awareness in importance and the need for sustainable global development.  With a vision of all British Columbians as active and involved global citizens, BCCIC works and enters into collaborations, which serve to increase awareness on global issues and how individuals, communities, businesses, and governments alike can become more involved with moving toward a better world. Recent BCCIC efforts have been directed toward implementing a framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that aim to address the world’s environmental, social, economic, and security challenges.

The AST line of work in efficient, clean renewable energy for disaster relief and remote communities is perfectly aligned with BCCIC and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
